During the ground breaking ceremony of Lahore - Sialkot Motorway, Honorable Prime Minister desired to extend the project up to Kharian. In pursuant to the directions of Honorable Prime Minister Republic of Pakistan, Chairman NHA has instructed, to take up the project on Build - Operate - Transfer (BOT) basis. National Highway Authority to appoint Prime Engineering & Testing Consultants for Outline Design, Technical and Commercial Feasibility Study for Construction of Sambrial - Kharian Motorway (70 km).
Road: Length = 70 Km 4-Lane with 6-Lane Structures
19 Short Bridges - Length 1000m 1 Long Bridges on River Chenab - Length 1 Km 2 x Flyovers Design Speed: 100-120 km/h
Several Crossing Structures including Multi Cell Culverts, Box Culverts and Pipe Culverts etc
